Rupina La Pass with Manaslu Trekking is a wonderful combination of the exciting trails of the Lower Manaslu and Upper Manaslu route. It avoids the trafficked route and you can enjoy the world class adventurous journey with the magnificent experience. The excellent views of the Ganesh Himal, Boudha Himal, Manaslu and Annapurna Himalayan chain offer the delighting scenery of the greenery and snowy white Himalayan ranges.

The trek begins from the Lower Manaslu region, combining the world renowned Barpak village of Gorkha. This is a unique way to begin the trek through the undisturbed region. Barpak is a large Gurung village that has been re-established after the disastrous earthquake in Nepal. The 4670 meters high pass of Rupina La lies on the trail. The picturesque scenery and the green hills allure the trekkers. The trek adjoins to the main trail of Manaslu from Lho and commences through the Tibetan Buddhist influenced ethnic communities. The cultural aspects of the trek are dramatic. The colorful monasteries, chhortens and mani walls around Namrung, Sama Gaon and Samdo are excellent. The adventure section of the Larke Pass measures your adrenaline junky that goes through the snow and rocky landscape. Crossing the Larke Pass, the trek connects the Annapurna trail and concludes at the Marshhyangdi River valley.

Day 4 :

Trek from Baluwa to Barpak 1950 m. 7 hrs walk over night at Camping

Day 7 :

Cost Includes

Trekking equipment

The Following information will give you some idea about what you need to bring for the trek as the backpack for the hiking in Nepal and the gear play a vital role for the successful trip and we suggest you to have all the necessary gear for the trip and not to have unnecessary equipment/things that you will not be using for the trip and list of the gear you need for the trek are:

  1. Good down Sleeping bag (Optional/You need to bring your own but if you do not have on your own and it is to be chargeable during the trek.
  2. Duffel or Rucksack bag to keep your all the gear and this will be carried by the porters.
  3. Daypack bag for yourself
  4. A down Jacket
  5. Shade hat
  6. Warm wool hat to cover your ears
  7. A pair of lightweight warm gloves.
  8. T-shirts 2- 3 pieces
  9. Lightweight thermal tops.
  10. Fleece jacket.
  11. Fleece Wind-proved jacket (optional).
  12. A pair’s nylon hiking shorts which are quick drying one
  13. Underwear
  14. Two pairs of lightweight long underwear.
  15. Two pairs trekking pants, preferably that zip on/off at the knees so they double as shorts
  16. Four pairs of liner warm socks
  17. A pair of light to medium weight waterproof hiking/trekking boots.
  18. A pair of light trekking shoes for camp/lodges

Medicines and First Aid Kits

  1. Extra Strength Excedrin for altitude-related headaches like DMX.
  2. Ibuprofen for general aches and pains.
  3. Imodium or Peptone besom, Flexon capsules for upset stomach or diarrhea.
  4. Diamox 125 or 250mg or 400mg tablets for altitude sickness.
  5. 1 small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as moleskin, band-aids, some waterproof tape, anti-infection ointments, etc. Reliance Trekking company’s team also provide first aid kits)

Miscellaneous but Important

  1. Passport and extra passport photos (4 copies)
  2. Durable wallet/pouch for travel documents, money & passport.
  3. Lip care (Balm) At least SPF 20, 2 sticks.
  4. Sun’s cream with SPF 40 is recommended
  5. Pocket knife.
  6. Water purification Iodine tablets
  7. Toiletry kits and be sure to include toilet paper stored in a plastic bag, hand wipes, and liquid hand sanitizer, towel, soap, etc.
