A fantastic experience in a natural and unexplored part of Nepal positioned in the remote corner of the Annapurna region. The trek usually begins from Besisahar. The Nar and Phu Valleys only opened for visitors in 2002. This is an exotic terrain that offers medieval Tibetan culture in a pristine and almost untouched form. There are some spectacular mountain views and great alpine scenery, Tilicho lake, and the surrounding geography near the end of the trek only help to make this trek more amazing for those adventurers who are in search of a real Shangri-La. The trail passes through the Challenging high passes, Kangla pass (5322m) and Tilicho Pass (5340m) both offer fantastic views of the Annapurna massif, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu Himal, the Dhaulagiri range and Tilicho peak. This is an ideal trek for those who want to discover a hidden valley and trek off the beaten trail. Challenging high passes mean that you do need to be fit.
After traveling through the unique Nar Phu valley, we return to Manang, a beautiful village on the Annapurna trail, then continue the trek to Tilicho Lake,the highest lake in the world, followed by the onward trekking to Mesokanto La before reaching Jomsom.

Itinerary
Our representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be transffered to hotel in our private tourist vehicle. Overnight at Hotel.(Breakfast included)
In the morning, after breakfast, At around 8am, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your trek leader/guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trek. We will also supply you with our trek . For the meeting, please make sure you bring passport, three copies of passport-size photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any, and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer. Please inform us in advance if you will be arriving late and therefore are unable to attend the pre-trip meeting. After the Pre-Trip meeting and breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start in the morning. We visit, Boudhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. After Boudhnath Stupa we visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here we see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. Overnight Hotel. (Breakfast included)
We start our journey into the hills on a winding road along the Trishuli River. On the way we admire terraced farms and beautiful huts. After reaching a juncture at Mugling, we move straight ahead towards Pokhara. At Dumre, we leave the previous trail and head north to Besisahar. A half-an-hour’s drive from Besisahar takes us to Khudi, the starting point of our trek. Alternatively, we can get off at Besisahar, and then trek for an hour to get to Khudi along the wide trail. Treks starts from Nagdi heading towards Jagat. After crossing the big suspension bridge over the Nagdi Khola in Annapurna region the trip to Bahundanda takes about two and a half hours, and the trail passes through numerous local tea shops. The Annapurna trek continues steeply dropping through terraced rice fields to reach Syanje in about two hours time. Syanje offers spectacular views of a waterfall and has a few lodges are located right above the river. Also accompanying the next leg of the trip are few hot water springs, after following the river and gently climbing across the river, which are amongst the numerous hot springs found in this valley, amongst which most remain submerged during monsoon. Jagat can finally be seen above the ridge as the climb gets steeper, but the ascent actually takes two hours from Syanje.When we continue the trail it offers beautiful views of Himalchuli also you feel walking with nature following the melodic sound of Khudi river.It takes 7 hours ,O/N at Lodge on Jagat. Trek start acrossing the long suspension bridge and with a gradual climb. The wider valley now becomes a narrow gorge with the river thundering through it. Followed by a steep climb, Chamje is just an hour away, and the climb continues for almost three hours before reaching a wide valley, Taal. Taal is the district border between Lamjung and Manang. The local inhabitants are Buddhists of Tibetan ancestry living in houses made up of mud and thatch. The houses have flat roof, rainfall is considerably lower and subtropical vegetation start to give way to the coniferous forests in the highlands. Passing through the Taal valley, full of maize, barley and potato fields, the valley becomes narrow again. Passing through a few lodges at Karte the trail heads northwards to reach Dharapani, signified by stone gateways, characteristic entrance to villages in Manang.Dharapani is ending point to Manaslu Treks,It takes 7 hours, O/N at Lodge on Dharapani.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
The Annapurna trekking trail now swings due west from the on going northwards travel, with the route heading towards Chame. Travelling due west, Bagarchhap is an hour away from Dharapani. Bagarchhap offers exotic views of the Annapurna II and Lamjung himal, and also on offer is the Tibetan influence in the village: stone houses with firewood stacked in the flat roofs, there are stone houses with firewood sacked on their flat roofs, and a Buddhist Monastery.we arrive on danaqyu,after that we can reach Timang , amidst the coniferous forest .above the village. The village also offers some lodging facilities. Continuing on the trail, you would reach Thanchowk ,koto manang .after there is entry point for Nar phu valley ,passing through a fair bit of coniferous forest full of pine and fir trees, where you can find a few small lodges as well. The entry book at the checkpoint is to be signed to continue the trek, It takes 6 hours walk, O/N at Lodge on Koto Manang.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
In the morning, we register our restricted area permit at the Police Check Post. Then we trek through the River bank of Soti Khola again through wonderful pine forests, streams and suspension and reach Dharmasala. We have our packed lunch on the way. We then continue the trek through forests and ascend steeply towards Meta village. Finally we arrive on the Tibetan Plateau where we have a very good view of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. It takes 8 hours,O/N at Lodge on Meta.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
We start our day traversing up and down and crossing suspension bridges over different streams. After almost 4 hours of trek we reach Kyang where we can see the remnants, particularly the ruined forts of the Khampa settlement (the place which Khampa refugees from Tibet once captured and lived). We further keep walking past the Phu Khola on a rocky trail and finally reach the Phu village in another 3 to 4 hours.it takes 7-8 hours.O/N at Lodge in Phu Gaon.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
Today is the scheduled acclimatization day whereby we are suggested to rest and get acclimatized with the altitude. As we are in the Lost/Hidden Valley, we can explore the culture, natural diversity, and religious practices of the ethnic groups like Lama, Gurung and Ghale in here. Besides this, we can trace out how people make their survival depending on agriculture, animal breeding and seasonal migrations in such remote location or in the hidden valley. It is also the day for us to explore the Tashi Lakhang Monastery – the old Buddhist Monastery listed out of the 108 world’s great Buddhist Monasteries; it is supposed to be the last monastery constructed by Karmapa Rinpoche. Apart from exploring the cultural avenues of the lost valley, the valley also offers us a great view of Himlung Himal and other snow peaks in the region. The trail descends passing many streams and suspension bridges until Mahendra Pul which takes about 4 hours. We pass the high suspension bridge 80m over the Gorge of Lapche River. We have lunch in Mahendra Pul. After lunch, the trail steeply ascends passing many Buddhist stupas until Nar Village which takes about 2 hours. We find several Buddhist Monasteries here to visit coupled with the glorious vistas of Pisang Peak and other small peaks. This is restricted area ,so you collect special permit to entry Nar phu valley.It takes 7 hours, O/N Lodge in Nar Village.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
This is the second scheduled acclimatization/rest day for this trek. We spend the day taking a day hike nearby and explore Nar village and have a close look over the local culture and lifestyle. We also prepare for the trek next day. O/N at Lodge in Nar Village.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
Today is adventurous day with long day hike so we get up early in the morning and head to Kangla pass. From pass we can see the Annapurna massif ,Pisang peak. We further trek down to Ngawal from there.It takes 8 hours, O/N Lodge in Ngawal Village.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
From Ngwal, we head for Manang today.We pass through the isolated village of Paugh overlooking the amazing views of Annapurna range. We then move gently uphill to Mungli and then to the main trail of Annapurna Trail at Mungli Braka. We eventually reach Manang,It takes 4-5 hours, O/N at Lodge in Manang.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
From Manang Heading towards Shree Kharka .we arrive to Khangshar village on the way which is the collection of traditional stone buildings surrounding a large village square. Lunch in Khangshar where you will enjoy the beautiful scene of the Khangsar kang ,Om-Myurpa,Tilicho Peak and Bluesheep. From Khangsar, the trail leads gradually uphill. It takes 5-6 hours, O/N at Lodge in Shree Kharka.(Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
Trek to Tilicho Base Camp for 3 hours where we take lunch. The trail from Shree Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp is really tough and challenging. The trail is so narrow, just enough to keep our feet on. Stay overnight in Tilicho Base Camp.sleep in lower altitude rather than risking sleeping in a higher altitude at High Camp. It takes 3 hours, O/N at Lodge in Tilicho base camp (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
Our journey starts early in the morning at around 6am as we trying to avoid the wind. From the Base camp to the Tilicho lake takes another 3-4 hours. Tilicho Lake is a cold barren place in the afternoon and claimed as highest lake of the world. After we spend some time around Tilicho Lake, we will continue ascent and decent ends of the lake(Meso-kanto La B C),Organize camping. It takes 7 hours walk. O/N at Tent on Meso Kanto la B C. prepares food on the spot.
After the Meso kanto la B C ,acent until the Mesokanto La pass,Then trekdown to chauri Kharka .From the pass ,see Panaromic views all around , more adventurous trek with comparison with other Annapurna classic circuit, so those who are physically strong and had already good experience in trekking over the glacier are considered for this. High mountain’s climbing warm clothes are required. It is very cold at the base camp and while crossing the passes. So it is better to bring a pair of Crampons and Ice axe. Mesokanto La pass trek offers spectacular views of the Himalayas. The trek end at Jomsom or you can extend via world deepest Kali Gandaki between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.it takes 7 hours walk ,Organize camping, O/N at Tent on Chauri Kharka. prepares food on the spot.
After Chauri Kharka the way decent until thini and Jomsom.Jomsom is district headquater of Mustang district. It takes 5 hours.O/N at Lodge in Jomsom. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
21 min flight After breakfast we fly to Pokhara. The scenic flight takes us through the gorge of the two huge mountains, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. On arrival at Pokhara airport, we will be transferred to lakeside hotel. We get some rest and explore the beauty of Pokhara Valley in the evening. While we leisurely walk along the bank of Fewa Lake, the second biggest lake of Nepal while admiring the mountain view of Machhapuchhare. We can also go for a boat-ride in Fewa Lake or take a short hike to the World Peace Pagoda. We can end the day with a leisurely stroll around the mesmerizing lakeside area.
