The marvelous foothill journey embarks from Syaphrubesi and goes towards the Langtang valley. It is a journey through the Tibetan Buddhist ethnic communities and the pocket zone of the red panda. Tamang culture and hospitality can be experienced during the trekking. Hiking to Tserko Ri is an immense opportunity to explore the dazzling peaks of the Langtang region. The next destination the Gosaikunda Lake, which is a holy destination of the Hindu and Buddhist devotees. The Lake is surrounded by other tiny lakes. The Lakes and snow capped mountains’ revelation are sparkling to have a cozy session in the Langtang, including of Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the Annapurna massif. Passing through the 4610 meters altitude Lauribina Pass, the trek leads you to the Helambu valley that introduces you the Hylmo culture and the vibrant social interactions. The trek can be concluded at Melamchi Pool Bazaar or in the Sundarijal watershed region of Shivapuri National Park.

Itinerary

Cost Includes

  • Airport pick up and drop by private vehicle.
  • Accommodation in 2 star category Hotel in Kathmandu 3 Nights on BB basis as per the itinerary.
  • City tour in Kathmandu with guide by private Vehicle.

  • Flight From Kathmandu to Lukla & return from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Trekking equipment

The Following information will give you some idea about what you need to bring for the trek as the backpack for the hiking in Nepal and the gear play a vital role for the successful trip and we suggest you to have all the necessary gear for the trip and not to have unnecessary equipment/things that you will not be using for the trip and list of the gear you need for the trek are:

  1. Good down Sleeping bag (Optional/You need to bring your own but if you do not have on your own and it is to be chargeable during the trek.
  2. Duffel or Rucksack bag to keep your all the gear and this will be carried by the porters.
  3. Daypack bag for yourself
  4. A down Jacket
  5. Shade hat
  6. Warm wool hat to cover your ears
  7. A pair of lightweight warm gloves.
  8. T-shirts 2- 3 pieces
  9. Lightweight thermal tops.
  10. Fleece jacket.
  11. Fleece Wind-proved jacket (optional).
  12. A pair’s nylon hiking shorts which are quick drying one
  13. Underwear
  14. Two pairs of lightweight long underwear.
  15. Two pairs trekking pants, preferably that zip on/off at the knees so they double as shorts
  16. Four pairs of liner warm socks
  17. A pair of light to medium weight waterproof hiking/trekking boots.
  18. A pair of light trekking shoes for camp/lodges
  19. A pair sandal (Optional)
  20. A water bottle.
  21. Head/Torch Light.

Medicines and First Aid Kits

  1. Extra Strength Excedrin for altitude-related headaches like DMX.
  2. Ibuprofen for general aches and pains.
  3. Imodium or Peptone besom, Flexon capsules for upset stomach or diarrhea.
  4. Diamox 125 or 250mg or 400mg tablets for altitude sickness.
  5. 1 small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as moleskin, band-aids, some waterproof tape, anti-infection ointments, etc. Reliance Trekking company’s team also provide first aid kits)

Miscellaneous but Important

  1. Passport and extra passport photos (4 copies)
  2. Durable wallet/pouch for travel documents, money & passport.
  3. Lip care (Balm) At least SPF 20, 2 sticks.
  4. Sun’s cream with SPF 40 is recommended
  5. Pocket knife.
  6. Water purification Iodine tablets
  7. Toiletry kits and be sure to include toilet paper stored in a plastic bag, hand wipes, and liquid hand sanitizer, towel, soap, etc.

Although we generally adhere to the schedule, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and terrain conditions, suitable campsite availability, and the group’s general fitness level. It is important to understand that our trek is logistically complex and it is not unusual that adjustments be made.
