Yala Peak Climbing trip is an amazing trip for the beginner climbers. You do not need to have previous peak climbing experience, but you need to be physically fit and use the climbing equipments. The trip is connected with the Langtang valley trekking and it offers the brilliant scenery of the Langtang range, Ganesh Himal and others along with the adventure experience.

After about 8 hours drive from Kathmandu to Syaphrubesi, the trek leads you through the Tamang ethnic communities in the Langtang National Park. Langtang village and Kyanjin Gompa are most famous among them. Exploring the Tibetan Buddhist ethnic cultural prosperity you head towards the Yala Peak base camp. Preparing the climbing equipments and confirming the physical fitness, you effort to reach the summit. Yala Peak Climbing offers the delighting Himalayan scenery of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lhakpa, Ganesh Himal, Naya Kanga peak, Ghenchempo and Shishapangma. The trip retraces through the picturesque landscape and it ends in Syaphrubesi.

Itinerary

Representative of Reliance Trekking will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and you will be transferred to hotel in our private tourist vehicle. Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast included)

In the morning, we set up a pre-trip meeting with an introduction of the trekking guide. Managing the document to prepare the paperwork for the trekking, then we visit the UNESCO listed world heritage sites of the Kathmandu valley, including Boudhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, the Pashupatinath temple that is situated beside the Bagmati River. Driving back to the hotel, you prepare the trek with packing your belongings. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast included)

We drive to Syaphrubesi early in the morning. You drive through the picturesque hillside and the River valley. Half of the road pretty much challenges, which is after Trishuli Bazaar. Syaphrubesi is the gateway of the Langtang trek. It takes 7-8 hours to reach there from Kathmandu. O/N Syabrubesi (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)

The trek begins after the breakfast, heading through the steep forest slope to the Langtang River. Heading through the winding trail, we trek down to the stream and begin another hillside, to the ethnic settlement of Lama Hotel. Overnight at lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

After having breakfast, we begin to trek down through the steep route towards the Langtang River. Crossing the bridge, we walk through the jig jack trail. Crossing the stream and passing through the water-driven mills and prayer wheels to the large settlement of Langtang. Overnight at lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Passing through the tiny village after the breakfast, we head passing the huge Mani walls along a gentle path of a hill. It is relatively an easy walk. Reaching early after visiting the cheese factory, we have a lunch and rest the day. Overnight at lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Heading back from Kyanjin Gompa after the breakfast, we enjoy the local surroundings, towering peaks and the culturally loaded Tamang villages. We gradually trek down to Lama Hotel. Overnight at lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Descending from Lama Hotel, we walk all the way through the forest and following the Langatng River, we reach to Syaphrubesi and wait for the next day drive. As we have time, we explore the local market and enjoy the session. Overnight at lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

After the breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu, which is about 7-8 hours trip. Then, transfer to the hotel and rest. Overnight at hotel. Breakfast and lunch included.

On this day, our representative drops you at the airport for the final departure. Thank you very much for trekking with us. See you again.

Cost Includes

Trekking equipment

The Following information will give you some idea about what you need to bring for the trek as the backpack for the hiking in Nepal and the gear play a vital role for the successful trip and we suggest you to have all the necessary gear for the trip and not to have unnecessary equipment/things that you will not be using for the trip and list of the gear you need for the trek are:

  1. Good down Sleeping bag (Optional/You need to bring your own but if you do not have on your own and it is to be chargeable during the trek.
  2. Duffel or Rucksack bag to keep your all the gear and this will be carried by the porters.
  3. Daypack bag for yourself
  4. A down Jacket
  5. Shade hat
  6. Warm wool hat to cover your ears
  7. A pair of lightweight warm gloves.
  8. T-shirts 2- 3 pieces
  9. Lightweight thermal tops.
  10. Fleece jacket.
  11. Fleece Wind-proved jacket (optional).
  12. A pair’s nylon hiking shorts which are quick drying one
  13. Underwear
  14. Two pairs of lightweight long underwear.
  15. Two pairs trekking pants, preferably that zip on/off at the knees so they double as shorts
  16. Four pairs of liner warm socks
  17. A pair of light to medium weight waterproof hiking/trekking boots.
  18. A pair of light trekking shoes for camp/lodges
  19. A pair sandal (Optional)
  20. A water bottle.
  21. Head/Torch Light.

Medicines and First Aid Kits

  1. Extra Strength Excedrin for altitude-related headaches like DMX.
  2. Ibuprofen for general aches and pains.
  3. Imodium or Peptone besom, Flexon capsules for upset stomach or diarrhea.
  4. Diamox 125 or 250mg or 400mg tablets for altitude sickness.
  5. 1 small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as moleskin, band-aids, some waterproof tape, anti-infection ointments, etc. Reliance Trekking company’s team also provide first aid kits)

Miscellaneous but Important

  1. Passport and extra passport photos (4 copies)
  2. Durable wallet/pouch for travel documents, money & passport.
  3. Lip care (Balm) At least SPF 20, 2 sticks.
  4. Sun’s cream with SPF 40 is recommended
  5. Pocket knife.
  6. Water purification Iodine tablets
  7. Toiletry kits and be sure to include toilet paper stored in a plastic bag, hand wipes, and liquid hand sanitizer, towel, soap, etc.

Note Regarding Itineraries
Although we generally adhere to the schedule, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and terrain conditions, suitable campsite availability, and the group’s general fitness level. It is important to understand that our trek is logistically complex and it is not unusual that adjustments be made. Our guide will orient you each evening to the following day’s plan and their good judgment is the key to the long history of successful treks that Reliance Trekking Pvt.
