The Marsyandi rises on the northern slopes of the Annapurna Himal. Flows east through an arid valley around Manang an than swing south to join the trisuli river at mugling. Marsyangdi means rasing river in local dialect an this aptly describes it. The river used to be one of the finest world class white water with massive volume water, Technical & continuous 4+ – 5+ class rapids . it demands expert rafters & kayakers not for faint hearted.
Itinerary
Drive from Kathmandu to Dumre to Bensisahar by bus. Overnight camping at Besisahar.
Rafting from Besisahar and camp at the beach at the confluence of Chepe River and Marshyangdi River
All day rafting and camping on the beach near Turtle Bazaar
Return back to Kathmandu
