Day 01- Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).
Our representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be transffered to hotel in our private tourist vehicle. Overnight at Hotel.(Breakfast included)
Day 02- Pre-trip Meeting and Kathmandu city sightseeing Tour.
In the morning, after breakfast, At around 8am, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your trek leader/guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trek. We will also supply you with our trek . For the meeting, please make sure you bring passport, three copies of passport-size photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any, and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer. Please inform us in advance if you will be arriving late and therefore are unable to attend the pre-trip meeting. After the Pre-Trip meeting and breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start in the morning. We visit, Boudhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. After Boudhnath Stupa we visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here we see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. Overnight Hotel. (Breakfast included)
Day 03:Departure from Kathmandu to Pokhara By Tourist bus
Early morning, after breakfast, board a bus and drive to Pokhara. It's a drive of about 6 hours through lush green forest, meandering road through the hills and gracefully flowing riverside’s. You will also come across lively markets and clusters of villages on the way. Lunch will be taken in one of the road side restaurants. Upon reaching in Pokhara,O/N at Hotel. (Breakfast included)
Day 04. Drive from Pokhara to Kande, Trek to Landruk(1565m) VIA Australian Camp
Drive to Kande (Approx 1 hour drive) and trek to Landruk via Australian Camp -trek approx one hour climb to Australian Camp that takes us through a landscape of terraced fields and forests and affords some stunning views out across the central Himalayas. trek involves a relatively easy hike along the ridge-line to the Gurung village of Landruk. Landruk lies along the trekking route to Annapurna Base Camp and is famous for its honey hunting festival, where intrepid harvesters climb bamboo ladders and dangle precariously from ropes to gather the honeycomb from the sheer cliff faces. Surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery of the entire journey, the village lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area and provides us with one of the visual highlights of the trek. Day 05:Trek from Landruk to Ghandruk (1940m)
Trek from Landruk to Ghandruk , the trail makes a steep descent through terraced fields to Modi River. Crossing the river on a suspension bridge, the train climbs all the way to Ghandruk. Situated at 1970 meters, Ghandruk, the second largest Gurung village is one of the most beautiful villages of Nepal. Ghandruk is wonderfully confusing cluster of closely spaced, slate roofed houses nestling between terraced fields of wheat and barley. We arrive at Ghandruk for lunch. After lunch we tour the village and visit a local Gurung museum and Monastry . It Takes 4- 5 hours,O/N at lodge on Ghandruk. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included)
Day 06:Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani(2630m)
The trek up through small terraced fields past farmhouses and into dense jungle. This is a particularly good day for bird-watchers and those interested in wild flowers such as rhododendron, magnolias, orchids etc. which are blooming in the spring time. At the end of the days climb, you stay with magnificent views of snow mountains. It Takes 4- 5 hours,O/N at lodge on Tadapani. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included)
Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2750m)
The trail gently descent down to river in to a dense forest and gorge valley. Then steep and some exciting climb to Deurali pass and the views on reaching the top are excellent. To the west, See Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m) Annapurna south on the way to Ghorepani. From the pass trail goes steep down to Ghorepani. It Takes 6 hours,O/N at lodge on Ghorepani (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included)
Day 08. Trek from Ghorepani to Tatopani (1190m)VIA Poon Hill(3210m)
Early in the morning, hike up to Poon Hill for more panoramic views of the mountains and out to the Ganges plain before thermals bring the steamy clouds up from the jungle below. Back down to your hotel for breakfast and then begin the long descent down to Tatopani which lies between two 8000 metre peaks, Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri I . It is situated at the bottom of the Kali Gandaki gorge which is considered to be the deepest in the world using the two peaks on either side as reference points. Tatopani, which means 'hot water'. The hot springs that give the village its name provide the perfect opportunity for a good scrub and relaxing tired muscles. The food and hospitality is amazing. Day-09:Trek from Tatopani to Ghasa (2010m)
As the canyon narrows the trail is forced high up the cliff, at one point passing through a tunnel carved into the rock. The trek passes by a most beautiful Rukse Chhahara (waterfall) before reaching Ghasa, the first Tibetan- style village of the upper Kali Gandaki where the stone houses are characterized by the flat roof and narrow covered always. Day-10: Ghasa to Tukuche (2590m)
The Kaligandaki now opens up into a wide gravel bed as the trail travels through coniferous forests past Kalopani to Tukche. During the day, there are good views of the Dhaulagiri Icefalls to the west. On a hill above Larjung an interesting Gompa with many old painting. Day-11: Trek from Tukuche to Kagbeni(2800m)
The trek trail is now through several typical Thakali village such as Marpha, a lovely village of whitewashed houses and fertile fields, famous for its apple brandy and jam. This large Thakali village exhibits the typical Thak Khola architecture of flat roofs and narrow paved alleys and passageways. It is quite wonderful to wander its streets and shops – entirely different from towns in the West and still without automobiles. After this a gentle walk takes us to beautiful city area called Jomsom, the administrative headquarters for the region, straddling both sides of the Kali Gandaki. Convection winds grow stronger in the afternoon and exhilaratingly, we walk with the wind assisting us northward. The major inhabitants of Jomsom are government officials, army and merchants engaged in distribution of the goods brought in by plane and pony caravans.After Jomsom the trails is through bank of kaligandaki river to Kagbeni. It Takes 6 hours,O/N at lodge on Kagbeni (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included).
Day-12:Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3800m)
The trail rises up out of the valley to a high desert bench overlooking the river below. We walk onwards to Muktinath – an important pilgrimage destination for Hinduism and Buddhism with a Gompa and Pagoda style temples. The most interesting importance of the area however is the spot with burning natural gas.There are 108 water taps behind temple of Muktinath. Day-13: Muktinath to Jomsom (2720m)
The trail descent to the Kaligandaki valley . below as we retrace our steps to Jomsom through the beautiful arid landscapes. The new perspectives upon the mountains and ease of descending makes this a great final day of trekking. It Takes 6 hours,O/N at Hotel on Jomsom (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Included)
Day 14: Flight Jomsom to Pokhara(830m)
21 min flight After breakfast we fly to Pokhara. The scenic flight takes us through the gorge of the two huge mountains, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. On arrival at Pokhara airport, we will be transferred to lakeside hotel. We get some rest and explore the beauty of Pokhara Valley in the evening. While we leisurely walk along the bank of Fewa Lake, the second biggest lake of Nepal while admiring the mountain view of Machhapuchhare. We can also go for a boat-ride in Fewa Lake or take a short hike to the World Peace Pagoda. We can end the day with a leisurely stroll around the mesmerizing lakeside area. Day 15: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu By Tourist Bus
It takes about 7 hours to drive back to Kathmandu crossing over some mountain passes and rivers along.arrive on Kathmandu O/N at Hotel,(Breakfast Included)
Day 16: Departure day your Destination
Free day for shopping and departure After breakfast in to your hotel, we will drop you at the airport to take your onward flight as per time. If you have late flight, you will have time to do last minute shopping if you deserve. (Breakfast included)
